About tchomp.com

tchomp.com publishes homemade Halloween guides for people who like their holiday dark: costumes built from things you already own, and builds for wheelchair users that turn the chair into the set.

The guides are written and edited by Justin Harris. Each one lists what you probably already own, what is worth buying, the steps in order and the safety checks to make before you wear it.

How the guides work

• Every guide aims to be usable with ordinary materials and tools.
• Wheelchair builds are written around keeping wheels, hand rims, brakes and controls clear. Chairs differ, so check clearance on your own chair before you go out.
• Photos on this site are AI-generated illustrations of the finished builds, not photographs of real people.
